Privacy Policy

QiFlow is an app by Venuerific that gives feng shui, Chinese zodiac and palmistry guidance for reflection and enjoyment. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the app, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, write to venuerificiosapp1@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account. You can start as a guest with no email. If you create an account we store your email address or the identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google.
• Your profile. Name, gender, birth date, birth time (if you give it) and birthplace. We need these to work out your Kua number, Chinese zodiac, Four Pillars and daily readings. You can add family members in the same way.
• Your home. Front door direction, rooms, notes, floor plans you draw or upload, and room photos you choose to analyse. Room photos are backed up to your account only while the “back up room photos” setting is on.
• Palm photos. A photo of your palm, taken for a reading. It is sent to our server and the AI model to produce the reading. We do not store palm photos on our servers and they are not part of your account backup.
• What you type. Questions to the Master, journal entries and keywords you add.
• Purchases. Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google and processed through RevenueCat. We receive whether you are subscribed and when it ends. We never see your card details.
• Usage and device information. Which screens you open, taps, app version, device type, language and approximate region. We link it to your account, together with your name, your email (if you signed in with one), and a few profile details such as your element, zodiac animal, gender and how many rooms or readings you have, so we can understand who uses which features and help you if you write to us. We never send your birth date, birthplace, photos or what you type to the analytics tools. You can turn this off in Settings.
• Notification token. If you allow notifications, a token that lets us send you messages. Daily and monthly reminders are created on your phone and do not need it.

How we use it

• To provide the app: calculate your charts, write your readings and answers, sync your data between your devices, and apply the free and Premium limits.
• To keep the service safe and working, including preventing abuse and fixing errors.
• To understand which features are used so we can improve them.
• To send you reminders and, if you allow it, occasional messages about new features. You can turn each kind off in Settings.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

AI processing

Readings and chat answers are written by AI. To do that, the relevant details (for example your birth information, your home details, your question, or a photo you chose to analyse) are sent through our server to an AI provider, currently Moonshot AI (Kimi). They process the request and return the text. We do not use your content to train our own models. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your questions that you would not want processed this way.

Who helps us run QiFlow

• Supabase: database, sign-in and photo storage for your account.
• Vercel: hosts our server.
• Moonshot AI: generates readings and answers.
• RevenueCat, Apple and Google: subscriptions and payments.
• Mixpanel and Microsoft Clarity: usage analytics and screen insights (switchable in Settings; Clarity masks text and never records the camera or palm photos).
• Expo: delivers app updates and push messages.

These providers handle data only to provide their service to us. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your phone and in your account until you remove it. You can delete your account in the app under Settings, then Delete my account. This removes your account, your synced data and your backed-up photos. You can also write to venuerificiosapp1@gmail.com from the email you used and we will delete it for you. Some records, such as purchase receipts held by Apple or Google, are kept by those companies under their own policies.

Your choices and rights

• Switch off usage analytics, photo backup, reminders and notifications in Settings.
• Download a copy of your data from Settings (Download my data).
• Ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, Singapore or California) you may have additional legal rights, and we will respect them.

Children

QiFlow is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access rules so each account can only reach its own data. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in details safe.

QiFlow gives traditional guidance for reflection and enjoyment. It is not medical, legal, financial or professional advice.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we make a significant change we will tell you in the app or by email. The date at the top shows the latest version.
